Who is welcome to attend the event?: All are welcome to attend. There is no minimum age for this festival. Children are welcome.
Do I need tickets to attend? Tickets are needed to determine attendance for Keynote and Breakout sessions and food needed.
What is the cost of tickets? Tickets cost $0 to $10 (plus Eventbrite fee) depending on the ticket.
What type of tickets are available? The following tickets are available:
Adult Keynote Session Entrance: $10 (plus Eventbrite fee). Ticket allows access to ALL activities including all Keynote Speakers (Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers (from EWTN), Megan Schrieber (AbbeyFest), & Mark Houck (The King's Men), all Breakout Sessions, and Family Fully Alive book (while supplies last).
FREE Adult Breakout Session Entrance: $0; Ticket allows access to Breakout Sessions and other activities but NOT Keynote Sessions.
FREE Student Entrance Badge: $0; Student tickets are FREE with a Student ID.
FREE Child Entrance Badge: $0; Tickets for children under 18 are FREE.
Who are the Breakout Session speakers? Fr. Denis Wilde, Kevin Burke, Joseph Gale, Dr. Antone Raymundo, Dr. Aaron Chambers, Peggy Gottschall
Who are the Youth Track speakers? Jesse Martin and Marriana Leach (The Culture Project) and Adrianne Bendu (Generation Life).
Do I need to get both Adult Keynote Session and Adult Breakout Session tickets? No. Adult Keynote Session tickets cover all activities including all Breakout Sessions. Adult Breakout Session tickets do not cover Keynote Sessions.
Can I drop my children off at the Children's Area and go watch the keynote sessions or breakout sessions? Yes. Adult volunteers and squires are on-hand to watch youth while parents are at presentations.
What activities will there be for children?: There will be bounce houses, slides, an obstacle course, and arts and crafts for children. There will also be breakout session presentations for middle school and high school ages.
Will there be food and refreshments at the event?: Yes. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, pretzels, water, juice, and soda available for a slight fee. You can pay by cash in the Cafeteria.
What is in the exhibit area?: You can meet event speakers, get books signed by Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, and review or shop at exhibitors including AbbeyFest Ministries, Christian Bling, Pauline Books and Media, EWTN, Catholic Philly, and more.
What do I do after buying tickets online? Your email confirmation is your admission pass to the event. There will be a ticketing table that will have your wristbands for entrance. Simply show us your smart phone, or printed email and we will give you your wristbands.
Will tickets be available for sale on the day of? Yes. You can purchase tickets at the door. You can pay by check or cash at the ticketing table.
Where can I park?: Free parking is available in the St. Joseph Parish parking lot in front of the church and in front of the Parish Meeting Center.
How did the Family Fully Alive Festival get started? Inspired by the World Meeting of Families and the visit by Pope Francis to Philadelphia in 2015, the Family Fully Alive Festival was started to continue this mission at the parish level. "Love is our mission: the family fully alive" was the theme for the World Meeting of Families 2015. This theme was inspired by the words of St. Irenaeus who said that "the glory of God is man fully alive."
How do I make a donation? Your donation helps offset the cost for the event and makes tickets more affordable. We want to bring the highest quality speakers to our event and we need your help. You can make a donation at the ticketing table on the day of the event or on Eventbrite.
